League City Removes Mandatory Water Restrictions
Encourages Voluntary Water Rationing
The City of League City is relaxing water restrictions after the City of Houston, one of League City’s main water suppliers, removed mandatory water rationing restrictions early this week. League City is now on stage one of the Drought Contingency Plan. This stage calls for voluntary water conservation and urges residents and businesses to the follow a list of conservation guidelines. Magnolia Creek in League City, Texas is a 900-acre, golf course community in the Clear Creek Independent School District, located in Galveston county, south of FM 518 with Bay Area Boulevard serving as a bisecting major thoroughfare, and the American Canal serving as its southern boundary.

Magnolia Creek
TRASH & RECYCLING!
Tuesday and Friday are trash days.
Recycling pick up is on Tuesdays! Get your recycling bin from the water department at City Hall. (adjacent to the library).
Paper:
All types, including news-paper, magazines, cardboard, corrugated paper and packaging materials.
Cans:
Aluminum, tin, and steel.
Metal:
Aluminum foil and some scrap metal.
Plastic:
Marked Numbers 1 through 7, including milk, water, detergent and juice jugs; plastic soft drink bottles; and polystyrene food containers and cups.
Glass:
We DO NOT accept glass of any kind. Glass creates many serious safety problems during the recycling processes of delivery and sorting.
Glass Recycling
New Recycling Drop Off: League City is going green. A glass recycling drop off location has been set up at the League City Public Works building at 1535 Dickinson Avenue.
At this location, they also accept oil, oil filters and antifreeze.
The hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Heavy Trash
pickup is on Friday.
